Cynthia also enjoys running, spoiling her niece and nephews, and curling up on the couch with Sadie Mae to watch movies.

Currently living in Odenville, she began her receptionist duties at Pell City Animal Hospital in May, 2017. She also makes time to play with and care for her 2 dogs…a Pomeranian and a Pomeranian mix as well as two cats! PCAH is happy to have Melanie as part of our family!
DJ – Licensed Veterinary Technician
DJ began working at Pell City Animal Hospital in 1985 after attending the Snead State Veterinary Technician Program. When she’s not caring for four-legged patients, she cares for her own pets at home: Mable,an adopted Australian Shepherd; Sophie, and Barnese, her adopted cats and numerous cows. DJ also enjoys hunting, camping, motorcycles, horseback riding, and almost anything that has to do with the outdoors.

After passing the State Board Exam, she began working full-time as a licensed veterinary technician and has been with us ever since.

Summer – Technician Assistant
Summer has been with us as a technician assistant since September of 2015. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2008. Fostering dogs since 2008, Summer began working with Sandi Paws Rescue since it was founded in 2014. Her passion is helping furbabies in need and finding them their forever home. She and her husband, Jordan, share their home with two Great Danes, three Daschunds, two pigs and several rescues of all sizes! Summer is enrolled in school to pursue a degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Krystal – Kennel Technician / Technician Assistant
Krystal has been a part of our team since 2009. One of the best parts about working at Pell City Animal Hospital for Krystal is that it allows her to play with and take care of the dozens of puppies and kittens that come to stay throughout the day for boarding. She has a son and two canine children as well: Jenny, a pit bull; and Bear, a Chow/Shepherd mix.
Jordan – Kennel Technician
Jordan joined the Pell City Animal Hospital staff as a Kennel Technician in May of 2017. She is currently working towards her Physical Therapy Degree at Jefferson State Community College. When Jordan is not in the kennel caring for our four- legged patients, she is at home caring for her own fur babies. She and
her fiancé have a German Shepherd named Kingston and a goofy Basset Hound named Augustus. Animals have always been a very important part of her life. Outside of work and school, Jordan enjoys hunting, being out on the lake, Alabama football, and spending time with her friends and family. Pell City Animal Hospital is happy to have Jordan as a member of our staff!
Katie – Kennel Technician/Technician Assistant
Katie joined the Pell City Animal Hospital family as a Kennel Technician in February, 2017. As a little girl, Katie fell in love with animals of all sizes and species and has always dreamed about working with them. So, after graduating from Pell City High School in 2017, Katie enrolled in classes at Jefferson State Community College where she is pursuing a degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Outside of preparing for her classes and taking care of the dogs and cats at Pell City Animal Hospital, Katie enjoys life on the farm with her 11 chickens, 2 goats, 3 sheep, 1 donkey, a horse and 1 dog! WELCOME Katie!
Tasha – Groomer
We are proud to have Tasha as our groomer at PCAH. A native of St. Clair County, Tasha is a familiar face to our clients as she has been part of the staff at Pell City Animal Hospital since 2008 when she began her employment as a kennel attendant. Years of experience with caring for and bathing many dogs and cats at PCAH/Animal Crackers and months of training under an experienced groomer from Calhoun County made the transition into groomer a natural one. Tasha’s patience, calm demeanor and devotion to her clients are just a few of her many assets that will serve her well as she cares for your pets.
When Tasha hangs up her clippers for the day, she enjoys time spent on the lake with her family and leading the cheers for her nieces and nephews at their various sporting events. She also saves plenty of time to take care of her own 4-legged friends, “Rusty”, “Buddy”, and “Chloe”, her Golden Retrievers, and “Frozen,” her kitty.
Priscilla – Office Support Staff
Priscilla was born and raised in Talladega before her parents purchased and moved their family to a farm in Lincoln in 1979. She graduated from college with a degree in Animal and Dairy Science. In 1991, she married Dr. McMillan and in 1993, at the birth of their first son, she resigned from her position as Head Tennis Pro at the Anniston Country Club to become a stay at home mom. With a second son born in 1995, their family quickly became involved in showing sheep and then cattle. Their older son graduated from Birmingham Southern College and works in Birmingham. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2017, their younger son is employed in Atlanta.
Priscilla has been a part-time employee with PCAH for many years and also works on the family farm with their herd of Polled Hereford cattle. She loves ALL animals, but would have to admit that cats are her all-time favorites! Her family proudly owns 3 dogs (2 “rescues”) and 8 cats (all rescues) in addition to their farm animals.
Judy – Office Support Staff
Judy has been with the team since 1984. She looks forward to working with her coworkers and facing new challenges every day at the hospital. She shares her home with a domestic long-haired cat named Tom, and a domestic short-haired cat named Jerry.
