She also cares for chickens, horses, and a small herd of cattle and enjoys horseback riding and other outdoor activities. She is a 4H Equine program assistant, member of the Cattle Women and a volunteer for ASPCI and Sandi Paws Rescue.
DJ – Licensed Veterinary Technician
DJ began working at Pell City Animal Hospital in 1985 after attending the Snead State Veterinary Technician Program. DJ also enjoys hunting, camping, motorcycles, horseback riding, and almost anything that has to do with the outdoors.
Robin – Licensed Veterinary Technician

She began working with us as part-time kennel help in 1989 and soon after attended the Veterinary Technician Program at Snead State. After passing the State Board Exam, she began working full-time as a licensed veterinary technician and has been with us ever since.
Jayme – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Pell City Animal Hospital is happy to have Jayme, an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician, as a member of our staff. After earning her degree from St. Petersburg Community College in 2003, Jayme returned to her hometown of Pell City. Expressing that her job is “one that allows me to give back to our furry friends who give to our lives more than we give them credit for,” Jayme and her husband, Kyle, are the proud parents of a daughter and two sons who also share her love of animals. Outside of work and being a full-time mom, she enjoys photography.
Krystal – Kennel Technician / Technician Assistant
Krystal has been a part of our team since 2009. One of the best parts about working at Pell City Animal Hospital for Krystal is that it allows her to play with and take care of the dozens of puppies and kittens that come to stay throughout the day for boarding. She has a son and two canine children as well: Jenny, a pit bull; and Bear, a Chow/Shepherd mix.
Sarah – Kennel Technician
Born and raised in Illinois, Sarah moved to Pell City about 15 years ago and joined the staff at Pell City Animal Hospital in 2015. As a kennel attendant, Sarah loves taking care of and working with dogs and cats! She has 2 German Shepherd pups, LuLu and Gracie, and also raises chickens!
In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two children and a precious grandchild. Hunting, fishing, gardening and boating are a few of her other interests.
Tasha – Groomer
We are proud to have Tasha as our groomer at PCAH. A native of St. Clair County, Tasha is a familiar face to our clients as she has been part of the staff at Pell City Animal Hospital since 2008 when she began her employment as a kennel attendant. Years of experience with caring for and bathing many dogs and cats at PCAH/Animal Crackers and months of training under an experienced groomer from Calhoun County made the transition into groomer a natural one. Tasha’s patience, calm demeanor and devotion to her clients are just a few of her many assets that will serve her well as she cares for your pets.
When Tasha hangs up her clippers for the day, she enjoys time spent on the lake with her family and leading the cheers for her nieces and nephews at their various sporting events. She also saves plenty of time to take care of her own 4-legged friends, “Rusty”, “Buddy”, and “Chloe”, her Golden Retrievers, and “Frozen,” her kitty.
Priscilla – Office Support Staff
Priscilla was born and raised in Talladega before her parents purchased and moved their family to a farm in Lincoln in 1979. After graduating from college with a degree in Animal and Dairy Science, she returned to the family farm but soon decided to pursue her desire to teach tennis. As a certified tennis teaching professional, she served as assistant pro and then head pro at the Anniston Country Club. In 1991, she married Dr. McMillan and in 1993, at the birth of their first son, she resigned to become a stay at home mom. With a second son born in 1995, their family quickly became involved in showing sheep and then cattle. Their older son graduated from Birmingham Southern College and their younger son will soon complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama.
She has been a part-time employee with PCAH for many years and also works on the family farm with their herd of Polled Hereford cattle. She loves ALL animals, but would have to admit that cats are her all-time favorites! Her family proudly owns 4 dogs (2 “rescues”) and 7 cats (all rescues) in addition to their farm animals.
She is involved in several fund-raising events with ASPCI and enjoys tennis, swimming, taking care of animals, playing the piano and spending time with family.
